guilt is too painful an emotion and too heavy a burden.. I remember reading long ago - do not recall the book unfortunately - that we need to learn to let go of two things - guilt about the past and worry about the future... that will definitely help us
A mountain of wrongs...we've all owned half of that story at some point. Dug this.

This speaks to me so much. I went through a time when I couldn't understand what happened until I accepted my own faults. It was the hardest thing I have ever done to say those out loud. Now I am at peace no matter what the other person does. Or so I would like to think. Either way I feel,

...yes, worrying about the future is my unnecessary burden. Why do I carry this with me when I know there is no need? !!
